Documentary Premiere – Sidelined | The Color of the Game

SIDELINED: THE COLOUR OF THE GAME is a powerful 45-minute documentary that explores the systemic barriers faced by First Nations, Métis, Inuit, Black, Racialized, and Religious Minority participants in Canadian sport. Funded by a grant from Canadian Heritage, the film features personal narratives and expert insights, and highlights the urgent need for systemic change and inclusive policies in sport at all levels.

The evening will include:

• A red carpet welcome with interactive activations where attendees can contribute to the movement through art and video reflections. 
• A screening of the documentary, shedding light on lived experiences and challenges in sport.
• A panel discussion featuring individuals from the documentary, offering insights on how we can collectively work toward equity and inclusion in sport.
